Bruce Milligan brings more than a dozen
years of experience in traditional and interactive marketing
to MarketingWorks. He is experienced at:
- Marketing strategy
- Branding & identity programs
- Web sites & other interactive marketing
initiatives
- Public & media relations programs
- Business communications, including
white papers and executive presentations
Previously, Bruce served as chief marketing
officer at ViOS, a venture-backed, Cary, NC, start-up offering
software to navigate the entire Internet in a 3D environment.
Before joining ViOS, Milligan was vice president of marketing
for KOZ.com, a software and services company that helped real-world
communities migrate onto the Internet. He also spent two years
as president of click! Marketing Solutions, an interactive
marketing and e-commerce consulting company, where he created
strategies and managed programs for AOL, iXL, Carlson-Wagonlit
Travel, the FANSonly Network and others.
In the mid-1990s, Bruce served as director
of interactive marketing technologies at AOL, where he helped
create and promote AOL's first advertising sales program and
supported AOLs consumer marketing partners with advertising
and e-commerce programs. He also served as a marketing consultant
and corporate communications manager at Redgate Communications,
a pioneering interactive marketing company that merged with
America Online in 1994.
Bruce earned a B.S. in journalism with a
mathematics minor from the University of Alabama. He serves
as an elder at Triangle Presbyterian Church and on the marketing
advisory board at Laser Image Corporate Printing. He lives
with his wife and two sons in Durham, N.C.
